The editorial content of the book was playful in style, therefore letterpress experimentation was used to create the cover design and playful chapter headings. A dynamic color was chosesn for the cover, and the layout of the book included playful compositions of typography printed with black ink.

The Museum Store wanted a custom Dr. Seuss design for T-shirts and other products. The logo design, for the Museum's Sculpture Garden, was designed blending the style of Dr. Suess with a custom font and standard sans serif font. Eight designs were produced, four were presented to Dr. Seuss corporate and one final design was chosen.
